  • crash at Moorabbin yesterday?

    All... heard a bit of a kerfuffle on the scanner yesterday after what i believe was a police car absolutely SCREAM down my local main road
    towards the airport. (i'm 5 k away... Vic emergency suggested there were
    11 units there... heard a single engined cessna had nose-planted on
    runway 1... no news anywhere that I can find...

    Anyone?

    Must have been very minor if it didn't make the news, not even anything
    about it on the airports own web site.

    yeah, I couldn't find anything about it, just a plethora of units at the airport on the vic emergency website; what I heard on the scanner; and
    that was it... . oh well...

    forgot to add... perhaps it was a drill, but then why would it be on VicEmergency's website..??

    I'm frequently surprised about things that don't get reported on,
    but that's usually when they happen out in the country where
    reporters don't have time/inclination to travel out to the scene.

    It wouldn't have been, and the cop cars wouldn't have been speeding
    on public roads then either.
