I'll help add to the traffic...

I recently needed to do some things on Google Admin for
work (I work for a school system). I knew it wouild be
easier to do it with GAM from what I had read in the
past, but I didn't know HOW.

Well, used my buddy PETEY (ChatGPT) to help me learn
how. That rabbitholed into learning about homebrew &
using that to setup and run GAM.

That led into learning about iTerm and micro for an
editor. That led into replacing my MultiMail istall
with one from HomeBrew, then setting terminal colors
and such, and using micro for the reply editor.

I then found out that SyncTERM, that I have used for
years for telnet, is also a homebrew item, so I'm
using a newer version of it and learned how to edit
    the ini and lst files.

So it's been a great week for Apple for me! LOL

... I! finally! learned! how! to! punctuate! Kirk! sentences!

I have been using ChatGPT to write a few scripts this week, mainly firewall related, one to auto report to abuseipdb and similar. But also a couple of weather related scripts. I am waiting for a weather alert here to start on my next project with ChatGPT

I have been using iTerm for almost as long as I have been using Mac's which is far too long :) It is my default terminal now. I use BlueMail which I complied here. I added rsz via homebrew so I can download and upload mail by using triggers

Sadly my 2015 Macbook Air had to be Windowed so I could use my weather forecasting software. It went with me to Mongolia in 2015 and was dropped so many times but lasted

I like how it will do stuff, but it is not perfect. But it teaches
as it goes, so you learn it AND you figure out the 10% it is missing.
:-) That's my style of learning!

Ah nice! I was taking my MIL to her widow friend's house after church,
and had the thought about using it somehow to read/reply Apple Mail,
which is what I use. :-) It tells me it's not that easy... I could
access and read, but would be better using a homebrew IMAP reader. Then
of course I'd lose the cross functionality with my iPhone, iPad, iCloud
    stuff (contacts, calendar, etc.). :-)

I write a blog and record it as a podcast too. I usually write
into the browser window and then go back and edit. I'm thinking
seriously about loading an old school word processor to write with -
clean screen - less distractions - etc.

Ouch - but glad it lasted! My next 'project' on top of normal things is
to start scrapping LESS stuff (e-cycle, we don't dumpster it - we use everything we can until it can't be used anymore - school system) and
turning it into a linux distro that SOMEONE can use for SOMETHING. :-)

    I'm curious about your software!

I have started to learn python because of using it. I have made some changes to chatgpt generated scripts myself now

I used to blog but got bored and never went back. I should do as it may help opthers.

I have a new M4 Air which I love. But still drop to command line for a lot of stuff :)

I should upload it to github
