In the hopes that some of the old regulars might still see this post, I'm >saying goodbye, for the Alliance and keep your feet on the ground!

When I first got access to the internet in the mid nineties at uni, newsgroups were one of the major features of the pre-web internet.

some years of fun in this group. I've stopped playing WoW years ago but kept occasionaly lurking here while the group was still active.
However, as this group has pretty much been dead for quite some time and as my subscription comes up for renewal next month, I've decided to not renew it, as alt.games.warcraft really was the only group I still occasionally visited.
In the hopes that some of the old regulars might still see this post, I'm saying goodbye, for the Alliance and keep your feet on the ground!

I'm kinda here... as you might see by the late reply (probably too
late for you to see), I only check in very rarely now, as it's been so
quiet for so long now. Such a pity Usenet's died out, I miss the good
old days, but most my groups are dead/almost dead too; I suspect my
own subscription may not last a lot longer.
Still playing WoW here, albeit on a bit of a break at present, still
subbed but not playing much - sometimes I just need to do other things
for a while, but I know I'll get back into it soon enough.
Farewell, for Azeroth :-)

comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.action is pretty active. We talk about all
computer game genres in there.
As for WoW, every time I had a question about the game over the years
I played it, I think you always responded. Thank you!
