Well, as it turns out, I was never very good at Darklands as a teenager,
I guess the complexity of a role playing game got me, and I gave up on
playing. I have now re-acquired the game on GOG, and will hopefully go
through the story of /Medieval Germany/ all over again sometime in the
near future.
So my /unfinished business/ is less Germany, and more the game. After
all, why have DOS compatible computers if we can't game on them?

Thank you for the recommendation. I'll add it to my list of first
person shooters sometime after playing through what I have of the
Hexen series. I never got around to it back in the day, and I'm
still in no hurry. After all, good games are good games.
