W¤?ñ?¤ª™á¢•gŒ‰ is not in use anywhere(display name, From name, etc.)
That explains why you see "...winston" in some places and the decorated version in others. Thunderbird is basically overriding your NNTP identity with whatever is in its address book, whether you asked it to or not.
I noted earlier, TBird uses the display name from my email address in
TBird's Address Book/Contact. No need to ask or not ask.
- that email address is the same email address entered in the newserver's[Eternal September] Account/Settings.
Likewise, I could do the same(add the email address) in SeaMonkey's
Address Book/Contacts and the results( would be the same(SM like TBird
is Mozilla based).
