I filter out crossposted messages, anything from various trolls and

    you to read.

Take back all the tech corporations from India.
Take at least some of the industry back from China.

They have a big magazine section at Walgreens. I assume you can
subscribe to most of them, no?

    Not a magazine but I get a tabloid-format English-language newspaper
once a week, the Jerusalem Post. I assume the ones mailed to the USA,
Canada, and maybe Mexico are printed in NY.

    Nothing is going anywhere, really.

If you don't have a sufficient print volume, you can't charge
big money for adverts, and it doesn't really matter at some point
as nothing is going to work.

One of our local supplies of news, laid off a lot of their
reporting staff, and the results are not good. That cuts
    our news sources in half.

It's all kinds of print material that is flailing.

Anandtech closed as a website. They couldn't seem to balance
dollar-a-word articles (motherboard reviews) with budget, and
I guess Future decided they weren't making enough money and
closed it down. Anand hasn't run it for some time, and he'd taken
    a job at Apple.

While the cost of printing on paper, is definitely an issue,
it doesn't matter how light-weight the delivery mechanism is,
some sources just can't seem to keep the lights on.
