AI conversational search engine Perplexity and its new WhatsApp integration can provide more than just idle conversation. It can help you figure out the truth amid the rumors and half-remembered anecdotes that might appear in a group chat. You can get Perplexity to immediately fact-check your group chats.

I wonder if the offer of this service is extended to people who are banned
    ro
other Meta platforms because they refuse to pose for video selfies?

    Not sure.

This is ridiculous. If you want to know the answer to something, then you
    ust
    ask the experts? That's sickening.

So you would rather ask someone that knows little or anything about it than
ask an expert? I don't see AI as being an "expert," though. Having an
expert handy for every crazy fake thing you might here would get expensive.

Let's try asking it if Trump colluded with Russia to rig the 2016
    residential
    election.

I don't believe he did. I believe that HRC screwed up and only camgained
to her base, just like Trump did in 2020. That said, I doubt you'd get a straight answer out of him if you did ask.

I meant to put "experts" in quotes. My point is that Meta is trying to convey the suggestion that their AI model is "the expert." AI is an expert at scraping and utilizing info from the internet, but think about what that boils down to; an expert at utilizing propaganda.

I'm not blaming you for it I'm just criticizing the author. "Got a question? The people who banned Aaron and Trump have the answer!"

"The people who intercepted and hampered a trusted communication system during the pandemic, have all the answers you need."

Right. Anyone who thinks that AIs are "experts" are either morons or lying.

AIs, like all computers, do what they are programmed to. No more. No less.

The "fact-checking" craze is a ridiculous fad. Worse than the Flowebee.

Someone should invent the world's first fact-checker-checker to fact-check the fact-checkers. Doesn't it seem like the sheeple would flock to it? More crap with the catch-phrase they love.

The same way the left is trying to brainwash people into conflating illegal immigrants with legal immigrants, they're trying to modify our brains into thinking that computers should do all the thinking for us.

And they think that the more they repeat it, the more it will become reality.

"Are we at the toy store yet?"

Fact checking is right out of the book 1984.

Ya, but, like all Woke terms, "fact checking" means the opposite of what most people think.

The same way the left is trying to brainwash people into conflating illegal immigrants with legal immigrants, they're trying to modify our brains into thinking that computers should do all the thinking for us.

Well, ya. We'll own nothing and be happy. And the only way that will happen is if us plebes can't think for ourselves.

And they think that the more they repeat it, the more it will become reality.

It's worked before. They don't realize that it's not working now.

It should be called "narrative endorsing." Things have to be "checked" to make sure they align with Google, George, and rest of the forum.
