The burning question here is whether the republican base and
legislators will finally have had enough of Trump and his policies. And
will it be too late?

The non-MAGA base is likely already there. The MAGA base and legislators,
as a whole, will likely continue doubling-down and never admit they've had enough. Their band will play on.
