I had to rebuild mt Synchronet BBS. I am using the default login.js. I have noticed different ansi displays show up. Can those be modified/changed and where are they loated and file names.
Hopefully they are ANSI files and
not .msg as I do not have ab editor I can used besides notepad.
Notepad would be a terrible editor for ANSI files.
Use something else:

Dude. Have you ever looked at the Wiki, at all?
https://wiki.synchro.net/config:text_files
https://wiki.synchro.net/custom:menu_files
https://wiki.synchro.net/util:ans2asc
Hope this helps!

PabloDraw supports the editing of .msg files directly, as explained on that wiki page. And there's conversion utilities available (asc2ans and ans2asc), as linked on that wiki page. And .msg files would be easier to edit with Notepad than ANSI files would be, though still, not recommended. --
