  • Synchronet and Dosemu2

    Hey Everyone,
    Im trying to get a few bbs doors to work on Synchronet and dosemu2 but i have been having a few issues. Ive been following the guide on the Synchronet wiki, and it suggests that some of the command line arguments mentioned intyhe guide dont work with Dosemu2
    can anyone give me some tips or share some examples of how they configured their doors.. specifically TW 2002 or Esterian Conquest.. im out of Ideas..

    I've zipped up my dosemu.conf, dosemu.ini, and external.bat as an example:

    TW 2002 was the main reason I went to using dosemu2 instead of dosemu. After I got things set up with dosemu2, TW 2002 has been working and doesn't need a special configuration with dosemu2.

    Nelgin made that, so I'm not entirely familiar with what all he put in there.. It looks like that 'de' is a shell script that sets some environment variables.
    It looks like Nelgin put a readme.txt in that archive which explains things, so I'd recommend looking at that. His readme.txt says the follows:

    This will run a local dosemu environment in which you
    can configure DOS program.s I put this in /sbbs/bin and add that to my path.


    I don't have such a script for my dosemu2 setup, but you can use what works for you.
