    Just an observation, some dealers and distributors of the S&W M&P are placing deep discounts on the Gen1 M&P's to make room for the 2.0 models. I read
    about Cabelas selling Gen M&P Shields for as low as $250, and I got a good
    deal on a Performance Center C.O.R.E a couple weeks back for $350. Considering the CORE's MSRP is $729 and I've seen them selling for $550-$670, that was an awesome deal. I'm considering installing a Vortex Venom by the reviews and it's price range.
